The Low Line: A plan for a new park banks on subterranean photosynthesis, a neat project from PopTech staffer Dan Barasch.
I’ve had a lot of classy buffets at hotels. My first being Hilton’s, a very fond childhood memory of mine involving a 12 year old child and a gigantic bowl of choclolate fudge. So with so many precedents to draw from, I think I’ve earnt the right to judge this place. And I rate it VERY POORLY. horrible even.
I’ve been to Sheraton Four Points quite a few times and the quality of the food hasn’t changed much if at all. An extensive range of seafood yes, but the hot foods really REALLY fall much under what $80 should buy you. On a friday night you pay $80 dollars not including alcohol, you should be getting top quality food. instead it is flavourless, dry and looks like they got a catering company in to prepare the food for them. The desserts were lacking except for a chocolate caramel tart which was good enough. I spent my evening eating bread and olive oil because that was the only thing I considered decent enough. Definitely not worth $80….avoid.
